Fascism - a radical and authoritarian, nationalist political ideology. Fascist seek to organize a nation on corporatist perspectives. Far right-wing. Singular collective identity. Socialism - believes that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth among a small segment of society that controls capital and derives wealth through a system of exploitation thus creating an unequal society. Advocates either public or direct worker ownership and administration of the means of production and allocation of resources.

Communism - A society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs. No centralized government. Collective ownership of property. Organization of labor for the common advantage of all. Worker's dictatorship. The State plans and controls the economy. Single authoritarian party.

Totalitarianism - A form of gov't in which the ruler is an absolute dictator not restricted by a constitution or laws, or opposition. The State wields absolute power. People have virtually no power. Highly centralized. One political party. Total control over all aspects of a person's life. Gov't in the hands of a minority group through military might and extreme political repression.

Dictatorship - Absolute sovereignty is allotted to an individual or a small clique. A ruler unconstrained by law. Rule is considered illegitimate.

Liberal - One who is generous. One who favors greater freedom in political and religious matters. Suggests one free from prejudice or narrow thinking. Tolerant, generous, enlightened, broadminded, lavish, charitable.

Conservative - stingy, mean, bigoted, miserly, regressive, narrow-minded, reactionary, prejudiced, biased.
